What he liked most about this sport is that heading is allowed here, which means he can play. You will help him, because he needs to start learning from the basics. First, he needs to learn how to kick the ball, usually players do this with their feet, but our hero decided to deviate from the rules in this matter. A ball will fly at him from above, and you will have to deftly move it from side to side so that he has time to hit it. Under no circumstances should it be allowed to touch the ground, otherwise you will lose.
