Epic Battle Simulator 2 - army placement before automatic battle
You gather an army for gold and place it on your side of the field. Then you press start and don’t change anything: the battle goes on by itself, and you just move the camera and see whose line will break first. The entire game is decided before the first strike. There is a similar logic of “prepare and watch” in War the Knights, only there the emphasis is on a direct clash between knights.
Why the price of a unit is everything
There is always less gold than you want. Cheap fighters like spearmen take numbers, expensive ones - catapults, cannons, ninjas, giants - hit hard, but you can only put a few of them. There are also archers and crossbowmen who need protection from the front. Units are upgraded to three levels: better equipment and higher characteristics.
What comes after regular levels
Regular campaign - 50 levels. For a victory they give gold, after a loss the level is replayed again. When normal battles are over, epic levels are unlocked.
