Attack with action cards
The deck contains 108 cards: 76 number cards and 32 special cards. You play cards of the same color or number from the top on the table. If there is no suitable card, you take it from the deck. Action cards change the course of the game dramatically: Pass deprives the next player of their turn, Reverse changes the order, Take 2 forces the opponent to draw 2 cards. The Joker changes color to any color, and the Joker +4 adds 4 cards to the opponent and also changes color. This puzzle with an element of bluff — you hold the Joker and wait for the right moment. In the first rounds the pace seems slow, but after 2-3 games the score begins to grow quickly. Fans of similar mechanics often choose Rummikub — it’s also important to keep the combo in mind there.
Announce UNO — or lose tempo
Your goal is to be the first to get rid of all the cards. Every turn you choose: play a card or draw from the deck. When there is 1 card left, press the “UNO” button immediately. If you don’t have time, you take 2 penalty cards. The winner of the round scores points for cards in the opponents' hands: number cards — at face value, action cards — 20 points each, Joker — 50 points each. The first player to reach 500 points wins the entire game.
Round by round towards 500 points
One match — several rounds. After each round, the winner of the round receives points and accumulates them. Progress is direct: the fewer cards your opponents have at the time of your victory, the more points you take. The game doesn't end in one round — it's important to keep a steady pace. A beginner will figure it out in 5 minutes, an experienced player will immediately start counting his opponent’s cards. How to play: guide from scratch
- Click “Play” and select a mode: against AI or multiplayer.
- Get 7 starting cards. Look at the top card on the table.
- Play a card of the same color or number. There is no suitable one — take it from the deck.
- Use action cards at the right moment: Joker +4 — when your opponent has almost won.
- There is 1 card left — press “UNO” immediately.
- Hold Joker until the critical moment. The best time is when your opponent has 1–2 cards. Resetting the Joker early means losing the main trump card.
- Try to keep as many cards of the same color as possible. The more cards of the same color, the fewer moves you miss without a move.
