Merge Archer Defense: merge archers, hold the castle, and shoot from the walls
Merge Archer Defense centers on combining archers before the enemy reaches your fortress, then using swipe-to-shoot aim from the wall slots to thin out each wave. The stickman-style battlefield keeps the action easy to read, and the point gains from every kill feed the next upgrade round. It works in your browser, so there is no download or signup between you and the first volley.
As a strategy game, the real pressure comes from deciding when to merge units and when to spend points on stronger bows and arrows. That choice matters because each new wave adds more bodies to the lane, and the castle setup turns every missed shot into a bigger problem. The tower defense side is clear here, but the archery focus keeps every attack tied to your aim rather than passive waiting.
The game also fits the archery tag well, since each wave depends on how well you line up shots from the ramparts. If you want another tough holdout, Medieval Defense Z uses a similar castle-pressure setup, while Block Defence shares the same upgrade-after-fight rhythm. Castle Keeper is another close match because it also keeps you focused on defending a fortress under attack.
Because the swipe control makes short sessions easy on mobile, the browser version also plays well on desktop without extra setup. You can keep merging archers, chase stronger bows, and stretch each run by spending points at the right moment. The simple input and lane defense make each wave read fast, even when the enemy line gets denser.
