Royal Bubble Blast is a bubble shooter where colors disappear from the field
The action takes place in a royal garden with a castle in the background. The player aims the gun at the bottom of the screen and shoots a colored ball at a cluster of similar balls on the field. As soon as three or more balls of the same color are collected, they fall into the scoring areas. Offers a similar classic version of the genre without the royal theme Bubble Shooter Free 2, if you want a simpler set of levels.
If the shot does not create a match, the game counts as a miss. At the bottom of the screen, gray balls show how many misses remain. After five misses in a row, the game adds a new line on top balls, and the field becomes denser. Because of this, it is important not to just shoot at random, but to look in advance at the color of the next ball in the queue and plan a series of accurate hits.
A separate feature of the game is the fate of the color after complete cleaning. As soon as a player removes all the balls of the same color from the field, the game stops adding that color to both the cannon and the penalty lines. Gradually, the palette on the screen narrows to the remaining colors, and finishing off the last balls becomes easier. A similar principle of harvesting flowers is found in Bubble Pop Butterfly, only there the field is built around patterns, rather than single clusters.
The game is played without a time limit: the round ends when the balls reach the bottom of the field. The final score is compared with the best result, which the game remembers and displays next to the score counter.
