Witch's Potion Match: Pairs and Close Field
In Witch's Potion Match, you collect identical items and put them into a cauldron. There is not enough space below, so each move changes the layout. This is a logic puzzle about a tight field and things falling.
How to start pairing
First, look for identical objects in the top layer. Pair them up and remove them from the field to open up new moves. What decides here is the comparison and choice of which item to put away first.
What kind of interference is there on the field?
The portal releases items one at a time. The web temporarily blocks the item. The crystal takes up space and interferes with free fall. The mysterious item only reveals its contents after interaction.
Why does one move change the whole situation?
Once a pair is removed, the remaining items are shifted and new matches are rediscovered. Therefore, it is important here to count the order of moves, and not just look for the nearest pair. You also collect steam to brew a potion, just like in Mahjong Alchemy.
