Ashen Watch: holding the last line in a siege
In Ashen Watch you lead a guard and protect the last castle from endless waves. This is one of the action games where the hero hits the nearest enemies himself, and you need to hold your position and use your skills in time. Between waves you choose a perk and change your build under pressure.
How to resist the first onslaught
- Move the guard with the WASD keys or arrow keys and don’t stand still.
- On PC, hold LMB on the battlefield, and on mobile, drag your finger across the screen.
- Watch how the hero himself hits enemies nearby, and press Space for a Lightning Strike.
- Choose a perk for the next onslaught so as not to lose the line.
How many waves in Ashen Watch
The party progresses through 20 waves, and every five waves a boss comes along with a new cinematic chapter. Eight types of enemies come against you, so the composition of the crowd changes as you defend. In Ashen Watch, the same battle calculation is needed in Endless Siege, when you hold a line under a series of waves.
What do coins and perks give?
Coins in battle are used for permanent improvements and new armor skins, and the defense is maintained through the right choice. After each wave, you can take arrows, chain lightning, fire blade or dash. Each option changes the pace of the next fight and helps you hold the lock longer.
