ColorWars.io — online io strategy
ColorWars.io is an io-style territory-capture strategy. You control a tank on a shared arena and your task is to paint the field in your color. The capture mechanic is similar to Paper.io. The game works on PC, smartphones and tablets and runs smoothly on any device.
Paint the arena your color
You leave your base and drop a trail, then return to fill in the area. Each match is a multiplayer battle on a single arena. You earn gold for captured tiles and spend it on turrets and mortars. Enemies can cut your trail and stop your progress — and you can cut theirs. Quick reactions decide the outcome.
Capture more territory than your opponents
Your goal is to control as much of the arena as possible. Paint neutral tiles in your color, attack enemy bases and protect your trail from shots. The larger your area, the higher you climb the leaderboard.
Upgrade your tank and weapons
Collect gold in real time to improve your tank stats and upgrade weapons. Build turrets and mortars for defense. Matches run until the timer ends — the player with the biggest territory wins.

How to capture the arena
- Leave your base and draw a trail.
- Return to your territory to fill in the area.
- Collect gold for every captured tile.
- Build turrets along your borders.
- Cut opponents' trails while they're exposed.
- Paint in short bursts near your base — long trails are easy to cut.
- Cut an opponent’s trail while they're filling in the field — their tank is vulnerable then.
- Build turrets on the border before sinking all your gold into upgrades. Defense is more important early on.
