In Contra: Jungle Breach, you lead Mara through firefights and jump over incoming gunfire. This is an action game with on-the-go aiming and dashing out of tight places.

How many zones are there in Contra: Jungle Breach?
There are ten zones in the game, and the route goes from jungle outposts to frozen objects. The last zone leads to an alien lair - familiar from Among Shooter. Transitions between them change the background, but do not break the scheme of the battle. The pace increases, but the rules of shooting and jumping remain the same.
How boosters and relays work
Along the way, you find weapons with enhancements and activate the relay. These points keep the pace of the mission and lead you to new skirmishes. Towards the end of the route there are more opponents, and the battle is denser. So the mission remains a series of short encounters.
