Legiontide Lead the legion: gates, classes and the road to bosses
In Legiontide Lead the legion, you lead an army of soldiers along a long road and choose a gate to strengthen your squad. Gates add or multiply fighters, and also turn them into shield bearers, archers, giants or magicians. This is one of the skill games.
How to lead a squad through the gate
- Look at the groups of enemies ahead and select gates based on their type.
- Shields stop arrows, archers knock down towers, giants break barriers and armor, magicians clear away crowds.
- Hold the button to compress the army into a narrow line and pass hammers, saws, pits and narrow bridges.
When to expect the boss and new levels
Every fifth level ends with a boss, and each one has a weak point. In total, the game has 30 levels, 3 worlds - Green Meadows, Mushroom Forest and Frozen Peaks - and 6 bosses. After each world there are additional levels.
What happens between runs
Between runs you build an island kingdom, and the buildings make your soldiers stronger. Farms bring gold while you're not in the game, and from time to time skeletons attack the kingdom. Then you yourself aim the tower’s arrows to hold the defense - familiar from Royal Heroes.
