Stupid Zombies — online ricochet zombie shooter
Stupid Zombies is a zombie shooter with ricochet mechanics and physics puzzles. You play as Stu — humanity’s last defender with a shotgun. The goal is simple: wipe out every undead on the level and use as few bullets as possible. The gameplay feels like
Mr Bullet — the same precise-shot logic, but here the enemies are dumber and the levels are tougher. The game is available on PC, smartphones, and tablets. It’s perfect for a quick break.
Shoot the walls, not the zombies
Everything in Stupid Zombies is built on physics and geometry. You pick your firing angle, press the button, and watch the bullet bounce off walls, ceilings, and floors. One well-placed ricochet — and the bullet takes out 3–4 zombies at once. You blow up barrels next to groups of enemies. You trigger levers to clear the way for a tricky shot. You knock hidden enemies out of cover when you can’t hit them directly. Combo shots earn stars and unlock new levels faster. A similar precision-shooting mechanic is used in Stickman 3D Shooter — but there the trajectories are straight. The first 5 levels teach the basics. After that, the margin for error drops to just a couple of degrees.
Clear the arena
The goal on every level is to kill every last zombie before you run out of bullets. You aim with the mouse or your finger, set the angle, and fire. Your star rating depends on how many shots you use: fewer bullets means a higher score. You fail the level if you’re out of bullets and the zombies are still alive.
4 zones, 120 levels of rising difficulty
The game is split into 4 zones with 30 levels each. You can unlock the zones in any order, but inside each zone you have to go in sequence. Early levels teach the mechanics. By level 60–70, narrow passages, several levers, and zombies behind indestructible barriers start to appear — and the only way to blow them up is through barrels. Progress is saved automatically in the browser. Fans of precise-shot games often move on to Mr Bullet 2 for more challenging scenarios.
For physics puzzle fans
The game is suitable for players aged 10 and up. Beginners only need 5 minutes to get the hang of it. Experienced players chase 3 stars on every level — that’s a whole different challenge. A 10–15 minute session gets you through 5–8 levels. A full hour-long run lets you clear an entire zone at once. There’s no PvP or online opponents here — just you, the space, and physics. Fans of geometric shooters also pick Plants Warfare for a different kind of defense.
How to beat a level without wasting bullets
- Scan the arena before your first shot. Find every barrel and lever.
- Start with zombies in hard-to-reach spots. They cost more bullets if you leave them for last.
- Shoot walls at a 30–45 degree angle — ricochets can reach places a direct shot can’t.
- Only blow up barrels when there are 2 or more zombies nearby. A lone explosion is a wasted bullet.
- Activate levers before you start your main shots. A lever opens the route for the next shots.
- If a shot feels shaky, cancel it. On mobile, pull your finger back to the hero.
Hard levels always have a solution with 1–2 ricochets. If it feels like there’s no way through, look for an indirect route around the corner.
- Start by shooting zombies on the upper platforms. A falling head rolls downward and sets the lower enemies on fire — a chain reaction can kill up to 3 extra targets.
- An explosive barrel works through walls and barriers. If a zombie is hiding behind cover, look for a barrel near them instead of trying a direct shot.
- On mobile, shot canceling works until you touch the screen. Pull your finger back to the hero — the angle resets, and you can aim again.
