Gooey lab: springs, balls and gravity reversal
In Gooey lab you guide a slug through a laboratory where the rooms change jump and footing. This is one of the logic games with precise timing and soft physics.
First room jump
- Move the slug left and right using the arrow keys or WASD.
- Press Space, ↑ or W to jump; holding gives a higher rebound.
- Press R if the current room is not given.
New springs and gravity
Physics is important here, because each jump gently springs and moves the slug. Springs, balloons and buzzing saws appear in new rooms. You either push off from the spring, then slide past the blade, or fly upward after gravity reverses. The same calculation is needed in Bridge Builder when the floor ceases to be a support.
Coins and increasing difficulty
Each new world adds one new gadget or danger. Coins lie in risky side routes and invite you to turn away from the safe line. The difficulty does not increase in leaps and bounds, but through a more precise jump window and new combinations of obstacles.
