Tidy Bot: robot cleaning up to the docking station
In Tidy Bot, you guide a small robot vacuum cleaner through cozy rooms and pick up every piece of trash from the floor. The main goal is to remove the dirt, take the coins and get to the docking station before the battery runs out. This is a game of skill.
How to start cleaning in Tidy Bot
- Take the robot vacuum cleaner into the room and start moving along the floor.
- Collect dirt and coins while the battery still holds a charge.
- Keep an eye on the docking station and don't keep circling the room for too long.
- Return to the dock before the battery runs out.
How many levels and modes
The game has 30 handmade levels. You go through the living room, kitchen, bedroom and dining room, and then turn on Endless mode, where each round creates a new room. Easy, Medium and Hard are available, and progress is saved automatically. The collected coins go towards the battery, speed and side brush. The battery gives you more time to clean, the speed helps you move around rooms faster, and the side brush better collects debris from the walls. This makes it easier to reach the docking station and doesn’t lose momentum in endless mode.
Why is path calculation important?
You can't waste your battery on extra laps: first you collect dirt, then you immediately lead the robot back to the docking station. The same calculation of progress is needed in Merge Haven: here it is also important to complete the cleaning without unnecessary circling. If the charge runs out earlier, the level ends.
