About Circus Words — Gameplay & Story
Circus Words is a magical word puzzle hosted by a charismatic circus magician who pulls hidden words out of his hat one stage at a time. Each level shows a small letter pool at the bottom and empty slots at the top — your job is to fill them by connecting letters into real words. Fans of INCOWORD and Crocword will recognize the rhythm immediately. The game runs in any modern browser on PC, smartphone and tablet, with zero installation.
Main gameplay
What makes Circus Words feel different is the showtime vibe wrapped around a classic crossword workout. Each round opens with a flourish from the magician, then drops you into a colorful grid with multiple word slots crossing over one another. As you spell valid answers, they fill the slots and trigger small confetti animations. Extra words built from the same letters earn bonus gold for your catbank — coins you'll need for hints later.
What you need to do
Your task is to clear every empty slot in each performance. Drag through the letter pool to spell words, watch them slot into the grid, and keep an eye out for bonus combinations on the side panel. Each finished level earns coins, advances your vocabulary level and pulls back the curtain on the next themed circus act.
Levels and goals
Hundreds of levels are arranged into thousands of hidden words across themed shows — fire jugglers, animal tamers, trapeze acts, magic illusions. How to play
- Look at the empty word slots at the top of the screen.
- Click and drag through the letter pool at the bottom to form a word.
- Release — valid answers fill the matching slots automatically.
- Tap the hint icon when you need a nudge, or wait three hours for free coins from the hat bonus.
- Test short three-letter words first; they often reveal where longer crossing words begin and end.
- Keep an eye on the side panel — bonus words earn gold faster than waiting for the daily hat refill.
