Shaftbound: precision jumping in underground mines
In Shaftbound, you go down underground mines and choose the moment to jump and use your grappling hook to jump over obstacles that you can't overcome with a normal jump. It's a skill game with traps and rewards.
How to start the descent
- Move A/D or arrows.
- Jump Space, W or ↑, and turn on the grappling hook with X, Shift or the mouse.
- If you fail, press R; pause - Esc or P.
How many stages are there in Shaftbound?
The game has thirty-six manually assembled stages-levels. Checkpoints help you continue your descent after a mistake and you don’t have to start over. The deeper you go, the more difficult the obstacles become. The same calculation of the move is needed in Climb Up: the exact moment of the jump also decides here.
