Hose Down: put out the fire and fly with a stream of water
In Hose Down, you put out fires with a hose and rise above the roof with a stream of water. This is one of the skill games where aim and timing are important.
How to get above the roof
- A/D or Arrows move you across rooftops and platforms.
- W or Space gives a jump, and LMB launches a continuous stream.
- You aim the hose with your mouse, and the downward directed jet lifts you higher.
How to stay above the roof
The downward jet lifts you above the roofs, and the hose itself also acts as a brake. Steel reflectors change the angle of the water so you ricochet around obstacles. In tight spots you have to stay on course precisely, just like in the Vex 8.
What awaits in the eight districts
There are 40 hand-picked challenges in the game, and they are divided into eight areas. You pass streets at sunset, neon hotels, snow houses, water canals and a burning city skyline. As you drive out, you put out the fire, save people and animals, and also open fire doors with valves, counterweights and pressure plates.
