Scrap Metal 4 — speed up the car and destroy the track
The task is to select a car and drive it through a rocky area without losing speed. A crumpled hood and a bent bumper are not a hindrance here, but part of the game. This simulator, where the body is deformed from each impact, and not just scratched.
Dump instead of finish
You get behind the wheel and drive through hills, potholes and ramps. You can use your mouse to move an obstacle or jump on the fly, and the track turns out different every time. You will find a similar set of tricks in Scrap Metal 5.
Collisions bend the body, and over time the car stops listening to the steering wheel. Each blow changes the shape of the car — it's pure destruction, not a side effect.
Manual transmission
The clutch and gears are shifted manually, not by themselves. The first minutes are spent catching the moment of switching and not stalling on the rise.
The camera can be changed on the fly, and a similar set of settings is available in Scrap Metal 6.
