Underground 2 Revived — night street racing, car tuning, and free roam
Neon-lit nights, headlights cutting through the city, and streets where you can push it to the limit. In Underground 2 Revived, you get behind the wheel of a car, take part in street races, and explore the city with no set route. It’s all about speed, precise handling, and taking tight corners cleanly. This browser revival of Need for Speed: Underground 2 captures the vibe of nighttime racing from 2004.
City racing and car customization
You can cruise freely through the streets, find races, and compete against rivals. On straight sections, you can use nitro to speed up, and before sharp turns you’ll need to slow down. If you want to slide through corners, try drifting and learn how to keep your car under control.
In the garage, you can work on your car and change how it looks. Tuning is a huge part of the Underground 2 atmosphere: here, your car becomes more than just transport — it’s part of your racing style.
Free roam with friends
In Underground 2 Revived, you don’t have to race all the time. You can just drive around the night city, explore the streets, and meet up with friends.
Team-based free roam is available in multiplayer. Players with the same team name can see each other, and their positions are marked on the map with colored arrows. You can chat, go on group drives, and join online races.
If you want more competition on city streets, Night City Racing also lets you race through the city and compete with other drivers.
Browser version features
Underground 2 Revived runs right in your browser and keeps the familiar gameplay of the original PC version. Controls work with keyboard, controller, and touch screen.
Your progress is stored in your browser. To avoid losing your cars and achievements if the site data gets cleared, you can back up your profile. Saving is done through the garage menu.
