Mad Truck Challenge’s rocket-fuelled side-scrolling monster-truck races

Mad Truck Challenge turns each run into a side-scrolling monster-truck duel, where you balance in the air, fire rockets with X, and hit nitro with Space before the finish line. The ruined arenas in Egypt, Antarctica, and other wastelands give the game a harsh post-apocalyptic look, so every jump feels like part stunt and part shootout. Each stage keeps the camera tight on the chassis, wheels, and explosions.

You can play it free online in your browser, with no download or signup, and it works on mobile and desktop. The racing games category fits because speed, weapon fire, and landing control all matter on every track.

Upgrade the truck between runs

After each race, coins go into engine, rockets, nitro, and armor, so the truck gets stronger as you clear more locations. Collect diamonds and trophies on the route, then spend the cash before the next launch if you want a better shot at the tougher enemy trucks and end-of-area bosses. Fans of Racing Monster Trucks will recognise the same combat-racing structure, while the side view keeps every ramp, hit, and bounce easy to read.

The physics tag fits because a bad landing can flip you, and the truck’s weight matters when you hit pits, spikes, and moving hazards. The monster truck tag is also spot on, since the whole game leans into huge wheels, heavy impacts, and close-range ramming.

Ramps, boss trucks, and risky rocket shots

Use left and right to keep the truck level on jumps, and save nitro for ramp takeoffs instead of burning it on flat ground. That gives you a better chance to clear obstacles, hold speed after a hard landing, and line up rocket shots when an enemy truck gets too close. Monsters' Wheels Special is a fair comparison because both games mix heavy vehicles with aggressive road combat on rough terrain. Drive Mad also comes to mind for the unstable physics, especially when the track turns uneven and you need to recover fast.

FAQ — Frequently Asked Questions

Do you run out of rockets during a level?

Yes, the supply of rockets is limited for each route. You can see the rest in the interface. If you shoot everything ahead of time, finish off your opponents with a ram or simply overtake them. Upgrading a rocket module increases their number at the start.

How does the Wheel of Fortune work?

After certain races, the game asks you to spin the wheel. It gives out random bonuses: coins, upgrades, unique decals or parts for customizing the truck. This is a separate layer of progression on top of the main leveling.

Is it possible to roll over and lose because of this?

Yes, the physics in the game are real: the truck flips over if it lands poorly or is hit hard from the side. If you lie on the roof, the level is failed. Therefore, pumping shock absorbers is critical, and in the air you must always control the angle of inclination.
