Basic gameplay
In Vex 5, each level is a test of speed, accuracy and patience. You run, jump and slide along challenging tracks full of sharp spikes, falling platforms, lasers and unexpected traps. The game requires perfect timing: one wrong move and the stickman will fly apart. It combines the dynamics of an arcade platformer and puzzle elements, where you not only need to get to the end, but do it beautifully and quickly. New acts add fresh traps that force you to rethink your usual routes. You constantly improve your skills, perfecting every jump and slide to break personal records and feel the real thrill of overcoming.
What to do
Your task is to guide the stickman from the starting point to the finishing flag, avoiding all dangers along the way. Jump over gaps, slide under low ceilings, avoid spinning saws and avoid instant traps. Each level requires attention to detail: calculate your run-up before jumping and use momentum for complex maneuvers. The faster you finish, the higher your score and the more interesting the next test becomes.
Levels and goals
The game is divided into several acts with dozens of unique levels, where the difficulty increases gradually. The goal is to complete all acts, collect achievements and improve your time on each stage. Vex 5 introduces new types of obstacles and challenge rooms that unlock as you progress. You don't just run — you master the mechanics, learn to anticipate dangers and find the best ways to become a true master of the series.
How to play
Launch the level and immediately assess the situation. Move left or right to gain speed. Jump exactly when the platform is below you and use the slide for low passes. If you see a moving trap, wait for a safe window.
- Lifehack 1: in Vex 5, the slide jump gives the maximum distance in narrow corridors with an abyss — accelerate, press down and immediately up.
- Lifehack 2: study the patterns of spikes and saws in advance to pass them in one burst without stopping and save precious seconds.
