Fireboy and Watergirl 3: Ice Temple — ice co-op for two

Fireboy and Watergirl 3: Ice Temple (Fireboy and Watergirl 3) — co-op platformer about the elements of ice and fire. You and a partner lead two heroes through the ice temple to the common exit. Unlike the first two parts, here the heroes slide on the ice and get stuck in snowdrifts. The game is available on PC, smartphones and tablets.

Fireboy walks calmly on the lava, but dies in the water. Watergirl passes through the water freely, but dies in the lava. You bypass the traps and lead both heroes to the exit. None of them jump on ice — they just glide. Watergirl climbs up the snowy slopes and Fireboy slides down as he tries. You collect diamonds and activate mechanisms with rays of light. There are similar mechanics in Fireboy Watergirl: Forest.

Show two to the door

The goal is to lead Fireboy and Watergirl to their doors at the same time. You switch between heroes and decide who goes first. Each room is an independent platform puzzle. There is no combat or enemies here, only logic and reaction. One wrong step sends the level to restart.

Snowflake shaped card

There are 37 levels in the game: 20 regular, 6 synchronized and 11 with white diamond. The level map opens with a snowflake — you choose any neighbor you have completed. There is no final boss, the difficulty increases gradually from room to room. Those who have completed the series before will be familiar with the mechanics of Fireboy Watergirl: Elements.

For duet or solo

The game is suitable for both experienced platformers and newbies — two tutorial levels explain the base before the ice. A single session takes 10–15 minutes; a complete passage takes several evenings. Fans Fireboy Watergirl 2: In Light Temple recognize the familiar mechanics of light and mirrors.

Path through the snowdrifts

1. Go through two tutorial levels — they explain basic jumps and levers.
2. Point the blue beam at the puddle to freeze it into transmutable ice.
3. The red beam, on the contrary, melts the ice back into water.
4. Switch between heroes in advance, and not at the last moment.

On the touch screen, the finger sometimes slips when switching; on the keyboard, the response is faster.

• If you get stuck, open the level map and look at their numbers — go through the easier level first, come back later.
• On icy slopes, get Watergirl up first: Fireboy slides down and loses time.
• If the beam is shining in the wrong direction, look for a lever of the same color — it turns the beam 90 degrees.
