Fireboy Watergirl 2 in Light Temple — platformer with elements Fire and Water You control two heroes at once: Fire Boy and Water Girl. Their goal is to go through the temple, collect gems and at the same time reach their doors. Unlike other cooperative platformers, here all the mechanics are built on mirrors and rays of light. The game is available on PC, smartphones and tablets.

Light, mirrors and lava

The temple consists of 40 levels. Heroes direct beams of light with mirrors to turn on sensors and raise walls. Red gems are taken only by the Fire Boy, blue — only by the Water Girl, and green gems are found only at special Diamond levels. Black oil kills both heroes on contact. The first levels explain the controls, then the complexity increases sharply. The adventure continues the plot of the first part, Fireboy Watergirl: Forest.

Bring them both to the door

The goal is to bring Fire Boy and Water Girl to their doors by collecting as many gems as possible. One hand moves the hero with arrows, the other with the WASD keys. The pace is kept at the same level as the real one. arcade: reaction is as important as logic. One wrong step and the level starts over again.

Temple map and no saves

The levels open in order on the temple map — room by room until the very end. Progress is not saved between sessions and is only kept within a browser tab. After the temple of light, the heroes' journey continues in Fireboy Watergirl 4: Crystal Temple, where new traps are added.

For two on one keyboard

The game is suitable for couples and friends who are ready to share the keyboard. A single player can do it too, but will require the habit of switching between heroes. How to pass the first levels

1. Study the location of mirrors and rays of light.
2. Point the beam at the sensor to raise the desired wall.
3. Guide the Water Girl through the water and the Fire Boy through the lava.
4. Collect gems on your way to the door.
5. Bring both heroes to the exit at the same time.

Lifehacks:

— On levels with buttons, first check how many seconds the press is held: some of the switches turn off themselves.

— In dark rooms, navigate by the color circle around the characters, and not by the memory of the map.

— On difficult jumps, move the heroes in turns: controlling both hands at the same time often throws off the timing.
