Standstill: a fight where time follows your step
In Standstill, you move the battle forward yourself. This is a shooter where aiming does not waste a turn, but one step immediately shifts the entire world. What decides here is not the rate of fire, but the moment at which you begin to move.
How to take the first step
First, stand and aim. While you are not walking, the stage does not move either, and the shot can be adjusted without wasting time. On the first exchange, the reaction is important, because any movement starts the fight.
What to do when the weapon is empty
In one fight you have six shots and no reload. When the weapon is empty, you throw it at the enemy's head and immediately pick up someone else's. This way the fight does not freeze, but goes into a new exchange at close range, just like in Gunspin.
What happens after death
After death or error, the room starts again without loading and without checkpoints. Because of this, you quickly try a new approach and immediately check a different route. One failure does not leave the battlefield the same: it restarts immediately.
