Hazard Pay: Shifts in a Factory with Vanishing Floors
In Hazard Pay, you lead a worker through shifts in a factory where floors disappear, doors run away, and spikes appear at the landing point. This is a platformer with three heroes and 60 manually made changes, and here it’s all about jumping and choosing the right ability.
How to start your first shift
- Choose Cinder, Pip or Rivet before starting.
- Guide the hero using the ←/→ or A and D keys along the platforms.
- Jump Space, W, ↑ or Z, and hold the key for a higher jump.
- If necessary, go down through the thin platforms to ↓ or S, and R restarts the shift, Esc pauses.
Why choose another worker?
Cinder slides down the walls and jumps off them. Pip makes a second jump in the air. Rivet hovers and scans for hidden traps. This is especially useful where the obstacles change right under your feet.
How many shifts are there in Hazard Pay?
There are 60 manually made shifts in the game. After each, you spend the reward on hats and footprints. In the next area, the floor, doors, and safe landing point may disappear again, just like in Vex 8.
