Streets of Rage Neon District: eight chapters of neon brawl
In Streets of Rage Neon District, you play through eight chapters as Rhea or Vale and fight in the neon streets. This is one of the action games with 2D battles, where the scenes of the area replace each other.
How to start the first battle
- Follow the street using WASD or arrows.
- Hit J or LMB, and for a strong hit use K or RMB.
- E gives grab, throw and pick up weapons.
How chapters and checkpoints go
There are eight chapters in total, and each one divides the area into several scenes. A boss awaits you at the end of the chapter, and checkpoints save your progress between attempts. If you lose, you return to the nearest point, and not to the beginning of the entire campaign. On city streets, the pace of combat changes, just like in City Simulator.
What techniques are important in a fight?
In battle, mix punches, kicks and air attacks. Before the lunge, the enemy shows a swing, so dodging helps to escape from the attack. After grabbing, you can throw the enemy or pick up the weapon from the ground. The weapon is convenient to hold for dense crowds and for the boss at the end of the chapter.
