Forgotten Hill: Surgery - escape from a surgical clinic
You come to your senses in a cold room in a surgical clinic and don’t remember how you got here. The exit is closed, and the only way to open it is to dismantle the clinic piece by piece. It is the third installment in FM Studio's Forgotten Hill series, released in October 2020, and continues the same story as Forgotten Hill Disillusion: The Library.
You play with the mouse: you move the cursor over an item, click and take it into your inventory. Next, the object needs to be applied - to a door, to a mechanism, to another object. A mistake here does not kill, the character does not lose a life and does not start over. You can only get stuck on a riddle.
The clinic is like one big mechanism
The rooms are connected to each other. The part found at the reception desk is needed in the office, and the symbol you saw on the wall will be useful two scenes later. Therefore, the game asks you to remember and come back: half of the decisions are not logic, but attentiveness to what you have already seen.
Creepy neighbors at the clinic
It's not just empty offices that live in the corridors. Some of the doors are guarded by strange creatures, and in order to pass through, you need to appease them with something. Such scenes are the hallmark of the series: the same technique works in Forgotten Hill The Wardrobe – Chapter 1 – Other Friends and in its continuation Forgotten Hill – The Wardrobe Chapter 2 – Two Sisters.
If the riddle is difficult to solve, the game has a built-in hint system.
