You play as a dentist without money. He has a hundred gold coins of debt and a sick brother who needs to be supported. A closet offers a solution; it was inherited from a deceased relative, and this closet has a dark secret. He solves all the hero's problems, but takes a terrible price for it. The closet itself and its rules appeared in Forgotten Hill The Wardrobe – Chapter 1 – Other Friends, the fourth chapter continues the same story.
Office, patients and hidden objects
This is a point-and-click quest from FM Studio. You move your mouse around the doctor's office, examine the shelves and drawers, find objects and connect them together. Some of the mysteries are built around patients: they need to be admitted and served, and each appointment reveals a new part of the story. The riddles are hidden in the setting itself, as in Forgotten Hill Disillusion: The library, where the clues are also in plain sight among the furniture.
Solutions you have to pay for
The main feature of this chapter is moral dilemmas. The game forces the hero to make a choice, and the consequences are brutal. The ending depends on how far you are willing to go. The drawing is done by hand, the tone is gloomy, the scenes in the office are sometimes unpleasant - much like in Forgotten Hill: Surgery, where the action also takes place within medical walls.
