Little Cabin in the Woods - escape from a cabin in the woods
You play as a boy who was taken to his grandfather in a forest hut, away from the past. The past found him there too. The entire game takes place inside the house: you click on objects, pick them up, transfer them to other objects and look for a code that will open the exit. This is the first Forgotten Hill Tales spin-off story - separate from the main storyline like Forgotten Hill: Puppeteer.
Why does it all come down to one padlock
The rooms are connected by arrows along the edges of the screen: from the kitchen there is a pantry, next to it is a bedroom and a work room. Each room gives not an object, but a hint for the other: a skull on the headboard, a picture of a raven by the kitchen door, a picture of a moon and a star. It’s better to avoid grandfather in the house. When the padlock is opened, the game ends - there is no need to return to the remaining rooms.
Clues are hidden in the details of the drawings
The bedroom panel operates on three buttons - I, II and III. You need to press them so that only the moon, star and green symbol remain on the wall, and the extra blue triangle disappears. There is a four-character code in the pantry closet, and it is assembled from what is visible on the adjacent screens. The same logic works in Forgotten Hill: Surgery, where the clue almost never lies in the room where the castle is.
Another story of the same branch is Rise of Pico – A Forgotten Hill Tale. Observers agree that Tales is shorter than the main episodes: one house, several screens, one exit.
Player tips
- The red lines on the raven poster are easy to mistake for part of the design. They set the order for another riddle.
- If the item or key does not appear after the correct code, reload the page and repeat the same action.
- The skull on the headboard and the picture by the kitchen door are clues, not decoration. Inspect the walls and furniture before getting into the code.
